Don’t you love a summer day, lazing about and gazing at the clouds? I mean, I have small children but I imagine that is lovely. To help with the fact that I don’t always have time to daydream and get lost in thought staring at clouds I decided to create my own so I can enjoy cloud gazing at any hour! And with any beverage!
This is a 6 page PDF download for 4 Cloud Drink cozies. The Cozies you’ll be able to knit are:
Standard soda pop can cozy
Coffee sleeve cozy
Tall skinny soda pop can cozy (like for Celsius or Alani)
40 oz Tumbler sweater cozy
The PDF download includes all charts and instructions.
Materials: US 6/4.0 mm, DPN or appropriate length cable needle
Yarn: You can use any worsted weight in desired colors, yarn for cloud embroidery was I believe Red Heart Hygge charm (discontinued) but it is a soft acrylic yarn with a light sparkle running through it. It is Aran weight.
Tapestry needle for embroidering around the clouds to give them a fluffy, full effect, crochet hook for weaving in ends, stitch marker
Gauge: 17 sts + 22 rows = 4 in/10 cm in stockinette stitch, finished measurements laying flat: can cozy 4.25×5.5”, coffee cozy 5”(top) 4”(bottom)x 4”, tall skinny cozy 3.5×6.5” and tumbler sweater 6×4”
Skills needed: Knitting in the round, increasing, using two colors at once, great patterns for advanced beginner.
